Contact
If the house is too cold or too hot right now, call. The form is fine for a tune-up, a replacement quote or a question that can wait a day.
Phone
Serving Modesto, Salida, Riverbank, Ceres and Turlock. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
Safety first
If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the house and call PG&E or 911 from outside. Do not call us first. Once the utility has cleared it, the furnace can be looked at.
What happens when you call
The number reaches us. We take the details and pass them to one local heating and air company that covers your address, and they call you to arrange a visit. They set their own schedule; on the first cold week of November or a run of 105-degree days, every company in the county is busy, so calling early in the day helps.
What to have ready
None of this is required, but it shortens the call.
- Your address or ZIP, which decides which company covers you
- What the system is doing: no heat, cold air, short cycling, ice, noise, water
- Where the furnace is (garage, closet, attic) and roughly how old it is
- Any blinking code on the furnace, counted
- Whether your electric bill says MID, TID or PG&E, if you are thinking about replacing
What cannot be settled on the phone
Price, mostly. A furnace that lights and shuts off could be a $100 sensor or a $700 control board, and nobody can tell which without testing it. A firm number given sight unseen is either padded or will change. What you can get is a likely range, and a firm quote once someone has looked.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. California requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, and so does Florida, where this site is operated from. The announcement is that notice. Recordings exist so a job is not misremembered later. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form.

Common questions
Can I just ask a question without booking anything?
Yes. Plenty of calls end with an answer rather than an appointment, such as how a heat pump defrost looks or whether a filter is the problem.
Will someone call me back tonight?
Requests that come in after hours get a call back the same day or the next morning. If the house is unsafe, call 911 or the utility rather than waiting.
